Local Company Kennedy Recruitment shortlisted for Best Company To Work For by prestigious UK industry body.
Now in its ninth year, the IRP Awards, celebrating excellence in recruitment, are the only recruitment sector awards hosted and awarded by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC). Unmatched in prestige, the Awards present a unique platform upon which to celebrate the success of the brightest recruitment professionals and companies within the UK.
REC Chief Executive Kevin Green said, “We have been hugely impressed by the quality of entries this year, which shows how highly these awards are valued by recruiters. Our member’s change lives and help businesses succeed, and the Awards are an opportunity to celebrate the positive impact our industry makes.”
Kennedy Recruitment’s Strategic Director John Kennedy stated, “Our vision at Kennedy Recruitment is to enable and facilitate people to be what they want to be. As they grow and find success in their career, so too does our business and that success inspires others.”
This award speaks volumes for Kennedy Recruitment, as the only Northern Ireland based recruitment company to be shortlisted, but also in terms of the training and development provided to staff members as well as providing the strategic direction that employees believe in, are committed to and as a result drive the organisations activities.
Alongside the Corporate Award there have also been nominations in the individual categories. For the second consecutive year, Dale Robinson has been shortlisted for Temporary Recruitment Consultant of The Year, with Polly Adgey in the running for Best Candidate Experience.
Dale stated, “It is a great honour to be shortlisted for the IRP Temporary Recruitment Consultant of the Year Award. The IRP Awards are the ultimate platform to celebrate the success of recruitment professionals throughout the UK and I am delighted to be part of it. I am privileged to recruit for a range of professionals, who provide a valued service to the health and social care sector of Northern Ireland,”
Speaking with Polly Adgey she said, “I am delighted to be shortlisted for the Best Candidate Experience Award. This award recognises that jobs transform lives. As a recruiter, and a nurse, this is something I am passionate about. I have worked hard to ensure our nurses always feel like a valued staff member of an organisation, not just “an Agency Nurse”. That they feel like they have careers and not just jobs. It is a privilege to support our nurses in their careers and to work with them in their ongoing career development. I am fortunate to work for a Company which also recognises and values this.”
The winners of the 2017 IRP Awards will be announced at a ceremony in London on Wednesday 6th December.
