On our Website:
We collect technical information including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, operating system and device type. This is collected in an anonymous manner and helps us optimise the site for our users.
We also anonymously collect information about your visit, including the Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) of the pages you visit during your visit, pages you view, length of time on page and referring URL. This is the web page that you came from if you followed a link to our site. This helps us better understand what content appeals to our users and how to best structure our site.
When you sign up or register for one of our services we will track and store information about you in order to provide that service. For example, we will store your email address if you sign up for job alerts in order to deliver those alerts.
When you use our job application services or register for an account, we collect identity data such as your username and password, contact details such as your email address, address and phone number (if you have provided such), and other personal data that you may include with your application or add to your account for your own use, such as your CV or cover note/message and job preferences or if you choose to add your CV to the RecruitNI CV Database (should you wish to use this service). This is only done in order to deliver the services you have requested.
When you use our Recruiter services, we collect your contact details and any financial data required to facilitate our service to you.
Where We Store Your Data
- Your Data may be stored and transferred within the European Economic Area (EEA) or transferred to, and stored in, countries outside the EEA, for example, when one of our service providers use employees or equipment based outside the EEA. The EEA comprises those countries that are in the European Union (“EU”) and some other countries that are considered to have adequate laws to ensure personal data is protected.
- When transferring your Data outside of the UK, Ireland or the EEA, we will (and will ensure that service providers acting on our behalf agree to) protect it from improper use or disclosure and ensure the same levels of protection are in place as are applied within the UK, Ireland and the EEA.

- Applying for a job: We use the information you provide at application to facilitate this service, we only share this information with the Recruiter who posted the job
- Registering for a jobseeker account and using our services to assist with your job search, such as saving jobs, searches, CVs, job alerts and preferences to your account. This information is not shared with anyone, unless you use it to apply for a particular job
- Registering for a Recruiter account: We use any contact details provided to facilitate job posting services as part of our contract with you;
- carry out statistical analysis and market research;
- allow you to participate in interactive features of our Site, when you choose to do so;
- investigate any improper use of our services or the network;
- carry out activities necessary to the running of INM, including systems testing, network monitoring, staff training and quality control; and
- notify you about changes to our Site, services or policies.

- We consider your Data to be private and confidential. Your Personal data may be shared within the INM Group, for any of the purposes set out in this Privacy Statement.

We keep your personal data for as long as it is necessary to do so to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected as described above. For example, if you apply for a job your data will be stored and remain accessible to INM and the recruiter for a period of 12 months. The criteria we use to determine data retention periods for personal data includes the following: Retention in case of queries; we will retain it for a reasonable period after the relationship between us has ceased; and
Retention in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
