Core purpose of job:
Reporting to the Site Quality Manager the all Quality team staff are responsible for ensuring that higher quality levels consistent with the industry standards are implemented on site, in terms of food safety, Quality and Environmental compliance and policies.
Area of Responsibility:
Assisting in the following areas
They will be responsible for advising and assisting on all matters affecting or likely to affect quality control for raw material deliveries, products manufactured in the site.
Ensure the site delivers full technical compliance and in a planned manner all relevant issues with the Site Team/s.
Review and action any KPI target variances in customer complaints, microbiological, analytical and quality assessments.
Manage the investigation of all deviations and non-conformances of raw, intermediate and finished products and close out same in a timely manner
Manage the quality control/Lab function
Responsible for laboratory operations including raw materials and finished product testing, documentation and systems.
The timely investigation of all non-conformances following internal process to prevent non-conformances.
Working closely with production and sales departments.
Ensuring standardised procedures are followed and deviations are put in place in a timely manner.
Maintaining all the equipment used in the lab and daily/weekly/monthly calibrations.
Ensuring timely completion of site corrective actions as well as any deviations of lab measures.
Ensure all activities are controlled in accordance with -
Site food safety and quality policy
Site Allergan Management Policy
Site Environmental Policy
Site Training Policy
Liaising with Site Operations Manager/Director
Review technical compliance with QC and production teams
Management of the site food safety and quality management system
Management of site standards manual
Management of all QMS
Suitable applicants will come with relevant experience in a similar role and preferably some relevant qualifications.
