Leading Manufacturing Company based in Larne has exciting opportunities for Maintenance/Electrician Specialists who want to be challenged and are interested in progressing with the company. You will provide technical expertise, perform more complex electrical work and will work with and contribute towards a team of semi skilled and skilled maintenance employees.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Wires, assembles, installs and checks electrical apparatus with electrical controls in containers, plant equipment and special order generator sets etc
Performs complex wiring assembly work and repairs, with limited engineering data
Plans wiring sequences for containers, electric circuits for lighting, alarm systems, air conditioning etc
Tests circuits to ensure proper wiring functions
Repairs site and plant equipment in the event of reported malfunctions
Completes required preventative maintenance tasks to agreed schedule
Performs mechanical duties if and when required
Compliance with safety and quality standards
Compliance with 5S programme and other business improvement initiatives
Display behaviour and conduct fitting with our Values in Action
Any other appropriate duties
Formal apprenticeship or National Vocational Qualifications equivalent in electrical discipline. * The ability to follow and comprehend verbal, specific and detailed procedures and work instructions as well as difficult arithmetic calculations in order to perform the duties described above.
The ability to read and interpret complex electrical drawings
The ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
The ability to use a variety of power tools, hand tools and testing equipment
Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
Flexibility to work a variety of shift patterns and a reasonable amount of overtime
Previous experience working in a lean environment
Attention to detail to meet quality standards
Strong customer focus
Reasonable level of computer literacy and knowledge of a computer based maintenance management system
Salary & Benefits:
Hourly salary of £11.39/hr
- 3, 6 or 9 month contracts
Onsite car parking.
Great onsite canteen.
Normally 37+ hours available for all staff every week, plus occasional overtime.
PPE clothing supplied.
