Your new role
To manage and implement an integrated programme of marketing activity and promotional campaigns for the organisation.
Day to day duties will include; developing and delivering an annual schedule of marketing activity, in line with agreed budget allocations, and targets. Developing annual marketing plans and proposals, effectively communicating with internal teams and colleagues, ensuring timely identification, development, delivery, management and monitoring of marketing plans and promotional campaigns. Overseeing the management and co-ordination of marketing activities and promotional campaigns. This includes managing all elements of event management including graphic design, set build, invitation design and mailing, event promotion and delegate recruitment, and supplementary promotional and presentation materials. Managing the delivery of advertising campaigns. This will include developing campaign briefs, media plans, and media reviews etc. Managing a programme of sponsorship activity, ensuring value for money is achieved in accordance and working to maximise media coverage etc.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their experience in 3 of the following; digital marketing, event management, sponsorship initiatives, advertising campaigns, design-led projects covering printed and online marketing materials; or writing copy, such as for press releases, speeches, case studies, advertorials, promotional inputs, part inputs or Ministerial briefings.They will show proven ability to plan, deliver, implement and monitor marketing plans, which deliver against key targets and deadlines. They will have a track record of co-ordinating, managing and delivering business or marketing projects with responsibility for recommending, planning and monitoring financial resources. They will have strong interpersonal and communications skills, have the ability to working on their own initiative and as part of a team. The ability to research, develop and write copy such as for a full range of marketing and promotional materials, printed and digital, for a business audience is key.
