Abacus is exclusively recruiting a high volume of Paralegals to join and expand the immigration team. Working closely with your US colleagues and attorneys, you will obtain excellent training and support from the local and US leadership team and deliver highly valuable legal support for large corporate clients across multiple sectors and industries.
The global mobility practice has more than 100 full-time immigration attorneys, 200 paralegals, and more than 100 additional support professionals. Belfast has an important part to play in the future and progression opportunities will be available as the firm continues to expand in the next 12-24 months.
Due to the scale of growth, opportunities are available for both recent law graduates as well as more experienced Paralegals (Legal Professional/legal Assistant). You must offer a law degree as well as analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
Right from the outset you will be working for some of the world’s largest banks and tech companies, having the opportunity to be involved in interesting and impactful work. You will have responsibility for your own case load but will also work closely within a team environment to support your clients and colleagues. You will be expected to make your own judgement in drafting immigration petitions, making decisions and escalating issues. This is not a mundane process role; it will provide a strong platform for personal and professional development.
