As an integrated part of the group, Dale Farm Lakeland manufactures and distributes a wide range of high quality short shelf life yogurt and dessert products to the major UK multiples.
We now invite applications for the following vacancy based from our Head Office in Belfast:
SUPPLY CHAIN IMPROVEMENT MANAGER
Reporting to the Managing Director of Dale Farm GB, you will be responsible for the management of the Group Central Logistics Hub, and for supply chain improvement projects across the company. You will optimise the performance of the total Group
Supply Chain, and provide best in class service to customers and producers.
You will develop a culture of excellence, team work and continuous improvement, and champion the changes necessary for the Group to successfully compete. You will support other logistics and customer service operations throughout the Group to maximise cost and service competitiveness.
The successful candidate will ideally have a degree in a relevant discipline, and have a minimum of 5 years experience within a logistics / supply chain role, including exposure to project management.
Candidates must be commercially focused, and bring immediate credibility, knowledge and skill to the role demonstrating a track record of achievement. You will also have strong analytical, and planning skills, along with the ability to engage, influence and lead across teams. Purchasing experience of supply chain and logistics service would be desirable.
Applicants must have a proactive, can do attitude coupled with strong interpersonal skills, and a determination to succeed. You will be flexible to travel to any of our sites and have a valid driving licence and access to your own transport.
