UX/UI Designer (new)
Can you lead the design process through from conception to final design? Are you a UX designer who has strong front-end development skills that include HTML, CSS, and jQuery?
This UX design job is based just outside of Belfast and come with a base salary of £25k - £35k per annum, pension, free car parking, career progression opportunities, a packed social calendar and more.

What does this job involve?
The successful UX/UI Designer will work closely with the Digital Project Manager and collaborate with other Designers and Developers to create user-friendly solutions. You will organise workshops to carry out user research before taking the lead in the design process from wireframing to devising look and feel concepts through to suite of all page templates.
Front End Development skills are needed to translate an initial set of designs into front-end coded prototypes, allowing for mobile responsive scaling and various page layouts. You must be able to identify design problems and devise solutions geared towards higher conversions with suitable rationale. Making strategic design and user-experience decisions related to functions, features and emerging technologies is essential to this position.
What are the essential skills and experience needed?
The successful UX/UI designer will have a minimum of 2 years commercial experience in a similar role. You must be able to back up this experience with a portfolio of modern, eye-catching designs. During an interview, you must be able to Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the UX process - information architecture, wireframing and prototyping. Strong Front-End Development skills are needed in HTML, CSS, and jQuery along with knowledge of front-end frameworks.
