Your new role
You will be providing free digital skills training in a city centre location. Helping small businesses, job-seekers and individuals achieve more online. This is a varied role and could include helping someone write a CV, send an email, or train like minded individuals. You will answer questions on social media, digital advertising and search optimisation engines. No two days will be the same. You will need to have a passion for customer service and be able to demonstrate empathy and patience. You will recognise the importance of engaging with the local community to ensure as many different groups participate, proactively seeking out ways to engage.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have excellent problem-solving skills, you must be empathetic towards customers and fellow colleagues. You will be required to work under pressure and manage several projects at the one time. You should have excellent knowledge of digital marketing, technologies and trends. You will be a confident communicator with excellent people skills. You should have the ability to deliver training to multiple individuals. You must have a minimum of 5 GCSE's including maths and English. You must also be available to work weekends and evenings when required.
What you'll get in return
6-month contract. Full time and part time hours available. Training before and throughout the role. £25000 per annum (pro rata)
