We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Performance Analyst for a well known company based in Belfast. This is a great opportunity to work with an award winning company and further your career. This is also a full time permanent position.
The Commercial Performance Analyst role is focused on facilitating performance reviews and contributing to the delivery of financial processes for all aspects of the Connections business. Your ability to build and maintain close productive working relationships with colleagues across the business is essential.
Your key responsibilities will be to collate, analyse and present management information in a timely manner, and to ensure that the analysis is accurate and relevant to inform and educate others on the performance of the Connections business. Responsibilities may extend to delivery of financial processes and commercial performance of the business through data collection, data input, analysis or review with, or on behalf of, operational colleagues.
Analysis will cover most aspects that affect the performance of the Connections business, for example operational performance against business plans; quotation accuracy; split of quotes under contestability; customer trends; and customer satisfaction. You will take a solutions-focused approach and have the confidence to constructively challenge your manager while helping them to successfully deliver their work plan.
KEY TASKS & CHALLENGES
Contribute towards a team culture of sharing information and knowledge where there is a focus on solving issues with a "can-do" attitude and removing barriers to success
Contribute to increased commercial awareness across the Connections business through sharing knowledge and increasing awareness of how individuals can contribute to the financial performance of the business
Proactively provide accurate, relevant and timely information on Connections business KPIs, and when requested by colleagues
Work productively with colleagues across the Connections business in the analysis of performance, strategic planning, and monitoring of corrective actions
Main point of contact within the connections business for performance information relating to operational, financial or customer satisfaction
Assist colleagues with understanding and learning to improve together as a team
Contribute to the development and implementation of practices that improve the Connections commercial awareness and capability, including the ability to adapt to changing demands and needs.
Adopt a Continuous Improvement approach to processes and practices to deliver an innovative and agile service
Ensure the Connections team is aware of issues that impact commercial performance and information is shared so that performance improvement can be achieved together as a team
Analyse actual costs against our forecasted costs in order to react to changing market conditions, or to minimise inaccuracies within our pricing systems
Support colleagues within the wider business to complete their tasks, such as the preparation of budgets, periodic reviews, and audits
Work with other areas of the business to develop KPIs that communicate and inform, helping managers with continuous improvement and business excellence
Ensure that performance is based on SMART principles Calculate accruals and monitor job completion
Distribute Monthly Sales KPI information
Contribute towards the development of commercially focused, customer centric and compliant processes and practices, that improve delivery and performance
Ensure commercial performance targets and objectives contribute towards the short and long-term success of the business The term 'compliant' includes all business, functional, safety, financial, legal and regulatory standards and requirements.
Proven substantial experience and track record operating within a similar environment demonstrating your ability to meet the demands of this role
Proven extensive experience in extracting, analysing, reporting and presenting data held within databases
Demonstrate the ability to be able to positively influence safety behaviours and establish a safety value Can-Do, solutions focused attitude
Approach to work that encourages collaborative teamworking
Ability to highlight good performance and the confidence to point to poor performance in a supportive manner
Communicates effectively to build relationships with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders

Desirable Qualifications and Behaviours
A third level qualification in Business Administration or Finance based subject
Proven ability to present proposals and strategies backed up with information derived from complex data sets/collated information
Proven ability to produce fact-based and insightful data analysis that informs colleagues about their contribution to the success of the business and enables managers to plan future strategies
Demonstrate many of the supporting behaviours illustrated in Appendix 1 in addition to those listed as essential.
Salary will depend on experience and skills and will be between £25k - £36k with additional company benefits and bonus.
