Your new role
To carry out a number of clerical and administrative support functions for senior officers and you will work closely with colleagues to ensure the effective running of the office. You will provide support using a full range of ICT equipment including; word processing, databases, email, fax, intranet and internet facilities. You will support senior officers, in the preparation of letters, minutes, reports, presentations and the updating spreadsheets and databases as required. To provide, as when required, a receptionist service. You will assist in the collation and inputting of factual data and statistical information from various sources to support the work of senior officers. You will be responsible for maintaining efficient recording and filing systems. You will prepare, and process claims and invoices for payment via the Sage accounts system.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate must have excellent written and oral communication with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. You will need 5 GCSE's or equivalent including English and Maths. Have experience working within a team of clerical and administrative staff. You need to have experience inputting data to produce reports, maintain electronic filing system, schedule and organise meetings and diary management. You will need to have proficient IT skills to include the use of Microsoft programmes such as Word, Excel & Outlook and strong administration skills. You will have strong attention to detail and the ability to use own initiative.
