Due to a number of recent high-value contract awards, one of Northern Ireland's highest grossing construction & fit out contractors based in Newry are now seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their continuously growing, award-winning team. In operation for almost 20 years, the company has prided itself on delivering large-scale, complex & high-value projects across the UK & Ireland, building an enviable portfolio and extensive repeat business within the commercial, hospitality, retail & residential sectors. With continuous growth in the market and a focus on profitable expansion, the firm have a specific requirement for a Site Manager to provide operational management on £multi-million construction schemes.
Your new role
Due to ongoing bid success on high-value projects, our client has a full-time requirement for a Site Manager to take responsibility for the delivery of a range of new build projects on site from inception right through to completion. Your duties will involve planning and developing the programme of works, ensuring projects are completed to schedule and to budget. You will be responsible for the recruitment and management of site personnel & effectively monitoring and managing team performance to ensure that each project meets the standards required by the client all whilst maintaining and promoting the highest standards of health & safety.
What you'll need to succeed
As a successful Site Manager, demonstrable experience managing on-site operations as the Site No.1 on medium-large scale building & fit out projects is essential, with sound knowledge of the construction sector. You will be CSR (Site Supervisor) / CSCS or SMSTS registered. Communication skills will be key - you will have proven ability to lead site teams and manage relationships collaboratively in order to drive and motivate individuals towards the successful delivery of projects.
