Based in County Down (20 minutes from Belfast) your new employer is a specialist in creating recreational areas for both public and private clients.
Established just under 25 years ago here in N.I. they have recently been bought over by a larger contractor who are seeking to gain a further foothold in Northern Ireland. Offering a range of clients their excellent workmanship, this contractor is now seeking to add to their workforce with a qualified Site Engineer.
Your new role
As a Site Engineer you will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects predominantly in Northern Ireland covering public realm works & specifically recreation areas for private and public clients.
This role will see you carry out several duties including setting out, supervising labour, ensuring H&S is maintained and that accurate site records are kept.
This position will see you cover multiple projects and have full exposure to site duties as well as working on any design amendments that need to be made from their head office in County Down (20 minutes from Belfast).
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will ideally have 1 to 3 years Site Engineering experience and be able to set out using a Totalstation / GPS equipment.
You will also have experience of overseeing labour on site and be confident in reading drawings and carrying out associated tasks.
This role is for a motivated individual who can coordinate works and read / amend drawings if required.
Due to the head office location it will be beneficial if you are based in the Co. Down / Belfast area however sites will be situated across N.I with rare UK travel (1 night away or over and back in the same day) required on occasion.
What you'll get in return
