With 50+ years industry experience, your new employer are a national Construction and Civil Engineering Company carrying out work for the public, private and commercial sectors. Currently seeking to employ a dedicated Site Agent, their projects include upgrading water and sewer pipeline installations, construction of large sewerage and water treatment plants and pumping stations, recreational facilities, flood defence, road construction and realignment, ducting projects, wind farm construction, and all associated civils schemes.
This role will require travel throughout Ireland with site locations available on request.
Your new role
Your new role as a Site Agent will see you join the onsite operational team to ensure each project is running efficiently and to a high-quality standard. You will be tasked with overseeing the smooth running of the project including managing labour staff & subcontractors as well as dealing with client and stakeholder requirements as they arise.
As a Site Agent the expectancy will be to have technical knowledge in setting out, ordering materials, and supervising subcontractors however your primary role will be to manage those on site and ensure efficiency. Your role will involve dealing with stakeholders and clients as well as ensuring all technical engineering is carried out a high level from those you will be managing.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will be qualified to degree level or equivalent and hold an up-to-date CSR card. You will be required to have held a similar Senior Engineering position and ideally have experience of working within water projects or heavy civils schemes. The role will require excellent communication skills and you should have a strong work ethic and desire to succeed as well as being flexible on travel.
