Site Engineer required for a £25m School Project

An excellent medium sized contractor operating out of their head office in County Down currently have a requirement for a Senior Site Engineer.
With a busy order book and several new contracts awarded this company specialise in Design & Build Construction, Traditional Build and Project Management Services across a range of Building and Civil Engineering projects within the Public and Private Sectors in both NI and ROI.

Your new role
Reporting into the Contracts Manager, this role will see you based on a 40-acre scale single site project that is commutable for those living in boarder counties however accommodation will be provided.
Some of your duties and responsibilities will include; setting out and site measurements for building projects, Management of sub-contractors, Management of trades specialisms including groundworks and concrete subbies as well as ensuring Health & Safety procedures are in line with CDM regulations.
You will oversee the 40-acre site, in which 20 acres are heavily services with utilities, hard/soft landscaping as well as overseeing the structure of a Sports Hall and managing the various contractors.
Responsibilities will include managing spoil material of more than 30,000m3 to various areas of the site to create finished levels as well as coordinating and managing Public road/footpath reinstatement along with other duties.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have 3 to 5 years Site Engineering experience and be capable in setting out sites and managing labour force.
This role is for a motivated individual who can coordinate works and has a strong sense of commercial awareness. Ideally you will also have experience working on building projects such as steel or concrete frame buildings however, residential experience will be considered.
You will ideally be available to travel to sites however accommodation is provided for those who are commuting long distances.
