Your new role
As a Section Engineer you will be based on site for the duration of the project which is a major new road scheme based within the UK. You will join as part of the Civils division and as such should have civils experience ideally with Roads or Highways already (not essentially).
You will be expected to perform all Engineering duties including; supervising setting out, overseeing health & safety, interpreting & amending drawings, ordering materials, managing sub-contractors, liaising with client. Your new role will see you play a pivotal part of the Civils Team and develop the ongoing development of major infrastructure for this contractor.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have previous experience within site engineering, ideally civils works and road schemes. The successful candidate will be qualified to degree level or equivalent and hold an up to date CSR card. You will be an excellent communicator and can liaise with various stakeholders working on the project including, managers, sub-contractors and clients alike.
