Your New Company
An excellent medium sized contractor operating out of their head office in County Down currently have a requirement for a Construction Planner to be based either in their offices or working from home. Some site travel will be required.
With a busy order book and several new contracts due to start, this company specialise in Design & Build Construction, Traditional Build and Project Management Services across a range of Building and Civil Engineering projects within the Public and Private Sectors in both NI and ROI.

Your new role
Reporting to a company Director, as Construction Planner you will support the company by identifying, controlling, and forecasting timescales and resource requirements whilst implementing best practice project planning policy, processes, and procedures during the full life cycle of projects from tender through to completion.
Projects will mainly consist of commercial buildings and schools ranging in value up to £30million. You will work alongside the current Planner for a number of months before their retirement with the view to you then becoming the lead Planner for the business.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience of working in a similar planning role with knowledge of using Microsoft Project, Asta or even P6 Primavera will be considered. This is a permanent vacancy with an excellent employer who will develop your career and ensure that projects are based locally.

Previous experience of working in a construction planning role will be required although a background in Site Engineering will also be looked upon favourably.

This role will require no UK Travel and allow you to work either from their HQ or even from home when you are not required on site. Site travel will typically be 2 days a week however this may vary due to the nature and progression of the schemes.
You will be given the opportunity to develop your career progress within the company to the Planning lead role quite quickly.
