A Groundworker is required for a number of sites in the Newcastle Co.Down area. This role is long term.
Your new company
A well established Co.Down based company is currently looking for an experienced Groundworker for their sites in and around the Newcastle Co.Down area. This role will start of on a temporary contract with the opportunity to be made permanent after a few months.
Your new role
You will be required to work on a number of sites with the majority of them being housing sites or small commercial sites. You will be carrying out a mixture of groundwork duties that will range from drainage and concrete work to kerbing and flagging. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm. This company are looking to take on someone on a permanent basis so you have an excellent opportunity to join a successful construction company.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have to have previous groundwork's experience and be able to work under your own supervision. You must have knowledge and experience in drainage work. You will also need to have your own transport as some of these sites are not near public transport routes. You will also need to have a valid CSR card and be able to provide a recent reference from the last 6 months.
