Hays have been retained by McAleer & Rushe, one of Northern Ireland's market leading main contractors in their search for an Estimator. This permanent requirement is due to a consistently strong order book being bolstered with the recent addition of large scale commercial projects across NI and UK. The company has a very strong reputation for quality and delivery and this is reflected in an enviable level of repeat business with a large blue chip client base. Feedback from within the organisation points to a positive team culture, investment in development training and opportunities for highly competitive remuneration. Due to continued success and ongoing growth within the business they now require an Estimator to join their Commercial Team.
Your new role
You will work within an integral part of the business, reporting directly to the Pre-Construction Manager. You will be estimating for a range of D&B projects worth up to £75m. Additionally you will be responsible for all commercial aspects including; preparation and presentation of reports to Senior Management and Clients as well the building and management of client expectations. This is an office-based role in Co. Tyrone.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of tendering and winning D&B projects and a strong understanding of construction processes. You will have proven experience of delivering all aspects of your role efficiently, and to a consistently high standard. You will have at least 8 years' experience in a similar role and demonstrate the ability to breakdown construction operations into logistical sequences.
