A locally-ran charity require a bus driver to transport service users to and from a day centre, and also provide a range of support activities within the day centre. This a permanent role and you will work 35 hours a week, 9.00am - 5.00pm.
Your new role
Your main responsibilities will be to provide transport for service users attending the day-centre. You will also carry out essential checks on the mini-bus ensuring it is properly maintained, in a road-worthy condition and keep records in relation to maintenance and checks of the mini-bus.
Whilst in the day-centre you will support the manager and assist in taking part in activities, cleaning and help with serving food to the service users.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have a full category D1 licence and Driver Qualification Card, DQC (awarded upon completion of the Driver Certificate of Professional Competence). You must also have previous experience of driving a mini bus.
Any successful candidate will require an Enhanced Access NI prior to any agreed start date.
