Hays are recruiting on behalf of a manufacturer of bespoke plastic extrusions based in Ballynahinch for a Accounts Technician and General Bookkeeper to join their team.
Your new role
This Accounts Technician / Bookkeeper role will see you cover multiple duties covering month end procedures, preparing and analysing financial accounts and preparing VAT returns as required. The criteria for this post would be a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and Opera 3 as well as communication skills.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role our client would require that you can demonstrate the following criteria:
- A high level of knowledge in the use of Microsoft Excel, Purchase Invoice Systems, Petty Cash and Budget Analysis.
- Strong ability to use modern software packages to support word processing, spreadsheets and database tasks
- 5 GCSEs (to include English and Maths) at Grades A - C or equivalent Consideration may be given to candidates who do not hold the above qualifications but who can demonstrate 5 years' experience as detailed below.
