We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager - Payments Automation for the Belfast area. This will be a full-time temporary role, Monday to Friday consisting of 37 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £16.71. This vacancy is temporary ongoing.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The postholder will be required to oversee the project which will involve the following:
-Introducing invoice scanning
-Introducing auto matching of invoices, GRN's and purchase orders
-Electronic storage of invoices
-Enabling on-system routing of unmatched invoices to originators
-Driving a reduction in the use of Payment Forms, with electronic orders raised for goods & services where practical
-Introduction of electronic Payment Instructions for payments such as funding where no invoice exists
-Enabling centralisation of receipt of invoices
-Improvement of control processes for authorisation and validation of group bills
-Improvement in management information in order to better analysis payments
-Reduction in cheque payments
-Improvement in payment targets for invoiced supplies & services
-Introduction of Supplier Payment information on our Website
They should have experience of:
-Process mapping, redesign and improvement
-Implementation of eProcurement is desirable
-Managing a significant system-based change project within the last 3 years is essential
-Experience of system specification and testing
-Use of Prince2 or another project management methodology
-Appreciation of eProcurement processes, challenges and best practice
-Working as part of a cross-functional team
-Design and operation of financial controls
