MCS Group is delighted to be working with one of NI's leading Manufacturing companies to recruit a Health, Safety and Environmental coordinator to join their award winning, fast growing team based in Lisburn area.

You will;

• Provide administrative support to Health, Safety and Environmental functions, in accordance with ISO14001 Environmental Management system and Internal H&S management system.
• Assist with pro-active safety and environmental audits both site and employee directed to identify potential hazards
• Assist with re-active safety measures through instruction / retraining.
• Conduct regular and comprehensive site wide safety audits
• Management of ISO14001 logs
• Admin of servicing records (air con, gas, compressors)
• Assist with the implementation of ISO 45001

Criteria;

• Recent relevant H&S experience, working in a similar role
• NEBOSH General certificate or working towards (or equivalent)
• Competent IT skills with full working knowledge of Microsoft packages including excel.
• Experience in writing and producing reports
• Experience of creating risk assessments & method statements
• Knowledge of conducting safety inspections of work areas.

Preference will be given to candidates who have;

• Knowledge of working with a H&S management system, ISO18001 and ISO45001
• Knowledge of working with environmental management system ISO 14001
• Experience gained within a manufacturing environment
