X2 Design Engineer to join leading manufacturing firm in Greater Belfast
Your new company
We are currently seeking to recruit x2 Design Engineers to join a leading manufacturing firm in Greater Belfast on a 6-month temporary basis. Our client are a specialist manufacture and supplier to both the marine and aerospace sector. Due to an increase in business they are seeking to add 2 Design Engineers to help them with some key projects.
Your new role
In your new role of Design Engineer you will be involved in R&D projects and help develop innovative and cost effective design solutions. Based on your research you will then produce design plans and product prototypes. You will work with an established team and identify areas for product quality improvements. You will produce key technical documentation including cost proposals, BOMs etc. You will be involved in product testing and analysis - following up on test results and re-engineering products to meet set product requirements. You will in conjunction with the customer and internal departments.
What you'll need to succeed
To prove successful in securing one of these new Design positions you should be coming with a Degree in Engineering or similar discipline and 5 years relevant experience. You should have experience of taking a lead role in key projects and working in an R&D capacity. The successful candidate will have a high level of technical competency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
