We are working in partnership with one of the world's leading power and energy firms to recruit a Continuous Improvement / Electronics Engineer to join them at their state-of-the-art facility in Lisburn. Our client has well over 100 years of history and supply and service every corner of the globe.
Your new role
As the new Continuous Improvement / Electronics Engineer you will play a vital role within the business in which you will work across many departments including quality, electronic test and production. In this role you will be responsible for finding solutions to customer quality issues, you will fault find and diagnose issues down to component level and then work to put a fix in place which will be rolled out across production. You will manage CI projects and lead product improvements from initial concept to final production. This is a significant role within the business and one which is highly valued.
What you'll need to succeed
To be a success in gaining this role and to flourish in this capacity you should be coming with a third level qualification in a related engineering discipline (ideally electronic or electronic engineering). You should have a minimum of 3 years' experience working with the electronic sector in a hands role while also leading projects. You should have experience in PCB design and the ability to write comprehensive technical documentation.
