Senior HR Business Partner - Globally recognised business - Northern Ireland
MCS Group has been retained by one of Northern Irelands leading businesses, currently seeking a Senior HR Business Partner on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Head of HR, the Senior HR Business Partner be a member of the Senior Leadership Team, providing strategic HR advice and guidance, ensuring it is aligned with the overall business strategy.
The Senior HR Business Partner will lead and drive HR strategy plans within the specific business unit, working closely with the site HR Business Partners across NI and Mainland GB, driving performance and ultimately achieving agreed commercial targets.
This is a highly commercial role, which will help deliver significant value and profit improvement plans, ensuring people resource plans are met and employee skills are improved and enhanced. The Senior HR Business Partner will provide strong leadership and direction to the site HR teams, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their role in enabling the site to achieve its business plans and objectives, and motivate the team to deliver outstanding results on the site.
The successful candidate will also be involved in developing Business Unit training plans and succession plans, as well as ensuring graduate and apprencship programmes are successfully delivered in line with Group requirements. Driving communication and engagement will also be a key element of the role, retaining the companies top talent, as well as introducing talent attraction strategies to ensure to company attracts the best talent in the market.

The right fit
- 6 years + HR Manager level experience within food manufacturing
- Multi-site experience
- CIPD qualification
- Proven unionised workforce experience, including leading union negotiations, as well as industrial relations / conflict resolution experience
- Proven track record of improving operational efficiencies through managing cost & people development
- Organisational Change and restructuring to meet business needs, customer needs and continuous improvement.
- Strong financial acumen
