Hays Logistics and Supply Chain is seeking to recruit and experienced Warehouse Coordinator for our client an industry leader in providing building supplies. This is a new role within the business and will give you opportunity for growth and career development.
Your new role
You will report directly to the General Manager and Warehouse Supervisor to ensure the smooth and accurate processing of goods in / goods out and all daily warehouse tasks as part of a small team. You will be responsible for the accurate and efficient picking & packing of orders Goods in and stock locating (including unloading of containers on occasion) Assembling of various types of kits using components provided and maintaining a tidy and safe working environment.
Additionally you will assist in procurement process by accurate stock control and highlighting of shortages swiftly.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have previous experience working with a busy warehouse / stores environment and proven to work as a part of a team. You will be a motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative . Experience with SAGE Line 50/ and/or WMS would be advantageous.
