NEW Supply Chain Planner Job, £25-35000 (negotiable), based in Derry.

You will be joining a well-established employer in the Derry region who have gained a global reputation over the past 60+ years in business as a leading manufacturer of bespoke products. Due to their year on year growth and achieving international targets, a brand new Supply Chain role on a full time permanent basis has been created to continue with success and growth, and to bring further business fluidity between their European and NI based offices.
Your new role
Reporting to the Procurement Manager on their European site, your new responsibilities will include supply chain planning for allocated product lines, ensuring supply, inventory and distribution is managed and maintained to optimum standards within Northern Ireland and in accordance with the needs of the European office. You will utilise the SAP (APO) system to ensure planning and supply constraints are maximising value and fulfilling customer demands/orders. You will be identifying and implementing continuous improvement within your product line, including developing and pro-actively managing key stakeholder relationships and communications.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous 2 years' experience working within a supply chain, sales & order fulfilment or material planning type role will lead to success along with strong systems knowledge of ERP software - preferably SAP or APO but not essential as full training is provided internally. You will demonstrate experience of pro-active problem solving and solution creation, plus be confident in Microsoft Excel. You will bring an analytical and open minded approach to the role. Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal communication, is vital for success. You will also be flexible to travel when necessary for meetings, training and relationship building purposes.
