Hays are recruiting on behalf of their client, a leading client within their industry, to recruit a Customer Service / Relationship Officer to join their team. This is a full time, permanent role, Monday-Friday 9-5pm.
Your new role
As Customer Service / Relationship Officer you will be responsible for customer relationship management - answering and dealing with incoming telephone calls proficiently and taking all necessary action required, providing technical customer support to service queries from existing customers, scheduling installation / service work and coordinating time schedules that suit, liaising between customers and staff to ensure maximum customer satisfaction processing orders from counter sales, entering of jobs, service calls and contracts onto various in-house systems ie. CRM and accounts packages, booking courses / organising collections and dealing with in-house deliveries, general administrative / reception duties ie. Invoicing, typing, filing and any other administrative / scheduling tasks as deemed necessary by management for the development and expansion of the company.
What you'll need to succeed
As Customer Service / Relationship Officer you will have customer service experience in a similar role, strong communication and problem solving skills, an engaging personality with the ability to build rapport and trust, strong customer focus with a desire to go "above and beyond" for customers and a professional and proficient telephone manner. As Customer Service / Relationship Officer you will be computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft operation systems and you will have GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
Experience using Sage and CRM systems would be desirable. knowledge of the construction industry would be advantageous.
What you'll get in return
As Customer Service / Relationship Officer you will receive a salary of £17,000-£20,000 depending on experience, pension contribution and life insurance benefit.
