Is a leading public body. They have appointed Hays to recruit a Communications Officer to join their team in their Magherafelt office.
Your new role
As Communications Officer you will play a key role in assisting, supporting, delivering, monitoring and evaluating a wide range of marketing and communications projects. You will provide support in the planning and delivery of programmes, assist in the delivery of a proactive media relations service, develop effective written marketing and communications materials, develop communication and engagement channels and provide support as required within the Marketing & Communications team.
What you'll need to succeed
As Communications Officer, it it essential that you have a 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline - communications, marketing or public relations OR have 3 years experience in a communications / marketing role. As Communications Officer, you must be able to demonstrate relevant experience in core marketing and communications activities and be proficient in Microsoft suite. You must have access to transport for occasional business use.
