Your new role
The primary responsibility of the Manufacturing & Pallet Release Inspector is to ensure that finished goods are pallet released for shipment to customers in accordance with our Quality Policy of "Right First Time Delivered On Time Every Time". The Manufacturing & Pallet Release Inspector shall assist with continuous improvement in Manufacturing towards World Class standards and quality performance.
Perform random in-process inspection across manufacturing processes.
? Perform First Piece approval where required.
? Perform Pallet Release.
? Escalation of any other Quality Exceptions to Shift Quality Lead.
? Raising Quality alerts
? Labelling of suspect product.
? Retrieve Ship To Party for sending Certs
? Retrieve Coating results.
? Carry out Particle testing in clean room.
? Supports traceability activities when required
? Manages product containment activities (with activity support from SQL & Manufacturing)
? Retrieving and replacing retain samples as required by Quality/Manufacturing/Process Engineering.
? Any other quality-related duties as advised by Shift Quality Lead (SQL)
Hours of work:
Rotating days and nights. 42 hours on a rotational shift pattern of days and nights 07:00 - 19:00 and 19:00-07:00, they will work 7 shifts over a 2 week period (84 hours) i.e. 5 shifts one week and 2 the next week. This shift pattern incurs a 30% shift premium.
What you'll need to succeed
? Academic qualifications in Maths & English.
? Previous manufacturing experience.
? Knowledge of production & quality systems.
? 1 years' experience of working in a similar role
