MCS Group is delighted to be working on behalf of our client Foods Connected, a cloud-based software company, to recruit for the exciting role of React Developer.

This well-established Derry/Londonderry based company are currently going through a period of growth and expansion due to sustained success in their market and now require experienced Software Engineers, specialising in React, to join their team.

The Role

• As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for the creation of scoping plans for the new tools and communicate any ideas or issues to the lead development team
• Work on new product development, implementing new tools and technologies and shaping the product direction
• Building Front-end components that can be used across a wide range of products
• Create and complete testing scripts on code, to ensure what has been developed operates accordingly
• Work collaboratively across all teams in the business to ensure best practices are maintained
• Partake in all brainstorming, strategy meetings and innovation processes to help guide the direction of the system
• Work closely with the commercial team to understand each client's individual needs

The Person

• A real passion for code with experience in React
• An understanding of .NET and its components
• Previous exposure to cloud technologies
• A driven personality with an interest in developing software solutions
• Experienced in developing new tools to be used across new and existing products
• A proven track record of working collectively to meet deadlines
• Not afraid to challenge the status quo
