An owner managed manufacturing business established over 40 years ago, the company has built an enviable reputation for market leading product quality and customer service and counts some of Ireland's largest companies within its customer base. With an annual turnover of circa £20m and plans for continued growth, the company is recruiting a HR Manager to further strengthen its management team and play an important role in its future success. This is a newly created full time permanent role based locally in Derry.
Your new role
As HR Manager you will have the opportunity to be the number one HR individual within the company. You will be tasked with establishing and being responsible for the full HR function. This is an unparalleled opportunity to put your own stamp on the role. You will liaise directly with Senior Management and will become a valued member of the management team. You will design and implement new policies and procedures and will be tasked with improving staff engagement, morale and appraisal to ensure the company achieves high levels of performance from its workforce. You will have the potential to play a significant role in the future growth of the company.
What you'll need to succeed
As HR Manager you will have previous experience in a senior HR management position ideally within manufacturing. You will be analytical and pragmatic by nature and have the ability to design and implement policies, procedures and systems which are aligned to and promote the achievement of the objectives of the business. You will have a strong track record of working with colleagues to successfully implement change and manage risk. Prior responsibility for H&S within a similar environment will be a particular advantage.
