Electronic Engineer required to join leading manufacturing firm in mid-ulster
Your new company
We are currently seeking to recruit an Electronic Engineer to join one of Northern Irelands fastest growing and most innovative manufacturing firms, who specialise in range of high-end consumer and commercial products. Working from their impressive facility in Mid-Ulster you will join an established R&D team.
Your new role
In your new position of Electronics Engineer you will work with your colleagues in the R&D team to improve overall product quality and find innovative solutions for new product concepts. You will carry out research projects to determine design requirements and create a plan of action for electronics aspects of overall projects. You will design schematic layouts for PCB design with a consideration for customer requirements and cost. Working closely with suppliers you will source, order and manage the components required. In conjunction with your team you will write, test and debug firmware / software and carry out required test to determine suitability. You should have excellent dexterity when it comes to PCB and electronic components as you will need to be able to build and assemble prototype products using a range of tools for SMT assembly. You will provide expert knowledge to the wider team and be a source of information when required.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in securing the Electronic Engineers role you should have a recognised qualification in Electronic Engineering or a related subject as well as previous experience in the design and build of electronic devices/products. You should have previous experience of managing projects and taking a lead role within a team. Previous experience in testing and validation is important in this role.
