Customer Support Manager, Permanent position, based in Magherafelt area

You will be working for a well-established company that designs and develops digital technologies and diagnostic tools, servicing clients across the UK and Europe. Following their recent international expansion, Hays have been appointed to recruit a Customer Support Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall performance of the company through the provision of 1st line customer care, help desk administration and collaboration with their technical team in the UK and customer operations teams.
Your new role
As Customer Support Manager you will report to the Head of Customer Operations. You will be responsible for ensuring a professional and knowledgeable service is provided to all customers, meeting their needs and expectations with a positive experience. Your key duties will include being the first point of contact for customers, managing incoming calls and emails. Building effective relationships with internal departments and external customers. Managing and monitoring customer issues and ensuring successful outcomes with inputs from the technical and customer operations teams. Administering the customer service help desk.
What you'll need to succeed
As Customer Support Manager you will be educated to degree standard or above with excellent communication skills. Emotional intelligence leading to compassion and care of customers' expectations. Strong organisation and prioritisation skills and a self-motivator with proven customer service experience and competent user of MS Office.
Desirable - knowledge or background of the farming or animal health industry. Competent communication in a European language and working knowledge of customer service platforms.
