*** Site Engineer (Structures) - Immediate Opportunity - North-West Based ***

Hays NI are currently working on behalf of a major civil engineering contractor to recruit a Site Engineer for a 3 - 9 month programme of works on one of Northern Ireland's largest ever civils projects based in the North-West. With an operational history of over 40 years, the company have built up an enviable project portfolio & repeat client base, consistently delivering a range of major civils projects from road schemes, infrastructure developments & land reclamation right through to bulk earthworks, major drainage schemes & water infrastructure works.
Your new role
Due to the ongoing works on one of Northern Ireland's largest-ever road upgrade schemes to date, your new company is recruiting a Site Engineer for a programme of works lasting a minimum of 3 - 9 months. You will be responsible for all engineering works and management of the structures on site including traffic management, overseeing health & safety, interpreting drawings, ordering materials, managing sub-contractors & regular client liaison. Your role will see you be a pivotal part of the team and the ongoing development of Northern Ireland's infrastructure.
What you'll need to succeed
As a successful Site Engineer, ideally you will be degree qualified (Civil/Site Engineering or Construction Management & Engineering) with experience in a similar role, ideally on civils or roads schemes with knowledge of structures. The successful candidate will hold an up-to-date CSR card. You will be an excellent communicator and can liaise with various stakeholders working on the project including, managers, subbies and clients alike. As the role is an imminent requirement, you must be immediately or soon to be immediately available for a minimum of 3 - 9 months' of full-time on-site work.
