Excellent New Job Role for a Senior Engineer with Civil Experiences

This client is a medium sized family owned contractor based in the North West who have a Civil and Building division that operates in both the public and private sectors, as well as retail, healthcare commercial and residential projects.
In addition to traditional contracts, the company has extensive experience in design and build contracts. It specialises in complete construction services including design, building, groundworks and civil engineering works.
Due to continued growth they are seeking to employ a Senior Engineer who will cover all the Civils elements of their construction projects.
Your new role
This is a unique role for a Senior Engineer with Civils experience as you will carry out a split role of being based in the office and on site. While working from Head Office in the North West area, you will plan works and carry out preconstruction duties for multiple sites which are spread across Ireland. This part of the role will see you based in the office two days a week.
In accordance with that, you will also have responsibility for overseeing and carrying out all associated civils and groundworks packages on site including site clearance and demolition. This will see you based on site 3 days a week.
Overall you will be responsible for pre-construction civils works, programming, early clash detection and liaising with the design teams and then ensuring the works are carried out to the highest standard. While on site you will offer technical advice, oversee the requisition of materials, checking design works and ensuring all provisions are in place to meet with program demands.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you must have certain qualifications and personal traits including;
A third level qualification in Engineering, Construction or other relevant discipline.
A minimum of 2 years' recent experience working in a similar senior engineering role.
Willingness to work flexible hours required for the job.
Must be willing to travel throughout Ireland based on the requirements of the specific project while also being able to work from the office 2 days a week in the North West.
Must have a full clean driving license.
