Estates Officer (Building Surveyor) required by a public body to assist with minor projects / maintenance
Your new company
We are working on behalf of a large public body to assist with the recruitment of an Estates Officer for a period of 1-2 months with the possibility of further extension.
Your new role
You will be required to manage a range of small scale minor works build projects which will involve initial design, specification and tender packages through to liaising with external consultants and contractors, programme management and financial cost monitoring.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have a 3rd level qualification in Architecture, Architectural Technology or Building Surveying and have experience in a similar client side role or within a consultants office. You must be proficient in AutoCAD and have sound knowledge of building control and planning regulations and processes.
What you'll get in return
This position offers an immediate start and the opportunity to gain client side experience. Payments will be made weekly via BACS transfer.
