Your new company is a family run civil engineering contractor based in Co. L'Derry offering services within civil engineering, haulage, plant hire & demolition. With an operational history of over 40 years, the contractor has established itself within the civil engineering sector, gaining extensive experience and building a successful project portfolio within groundworks, road construction, demolition, site clearance & foundations. Due to an increase in workload, the company now require a Civils Site Supervisor for a minimum of 5 weeks in Co. L'Derry.
Your new role
Your new role will be Civils Supervisor, responsible for the day to day supervision of the civils works including groundworks, earthworks, drainage & foundations on multiple sites including a commercial scheme based in Co. L'Derry for a minimum of 5 weeks.
Your duties will involve the co-ordination of project activities and overseeing labour personnel & engineers, taking a hands-on approach on the ground. You will be tasked with ensuring all civils works are completed on time & providing the final push for the next 5 weeks. There may be an opportunity for further long-term works following on from the successful completion of the initial scheme.
What you'll need to succeed
As a successful Civils Supervisor, previous experience supervising civil engineering & groundworks is desirable with a flexible, hands-on approach to supervising projects on the ground. To be considered successful for this role, a valid CSR (Site Supervisor)/CSCS or SMSTS certification is essential & a current driving license.
As this is an urgent requirement, you must be immediately available for work & within commutable distance to the North-West.
