Your new role
As Company Accountant you will work closely with the Financial Controller on all key financial aspects of reporting within the business. Main responsibilities include: bank reconciliations: sales / purchase ledger; quarterly VAT returns; assist with monthly management accounts, reports, forecasts and budgets; preparing payroll; balance sheet and profit and loss reconciliations; liaising with key suppliers and statutory Government returns.
What you'll need to succeed
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified
- 3 years experience in a a busy accounting department
- Ability to complete full financial or management accounts
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Commercial awareness
- Innovative and motivated
- Experience with Sage and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain working relationships
