You will work for a well established accountancy practice based in Derry. Due to continued growth this firm now require a qualified accountant to join their team.

Your new role

You will work in a busy practice supporting the partners and your duties and responsibilities will include: preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, completing corporation tax returns and self-assessment returns, reviewing and completing VAT returns for clients, dealing with HMRC enquires, preparation of financial statements for partner review and any other accounting duties as required .

What you'll need to succeed

• Chartered / Certified Accountant
• At least 3 years experience working in a busy practice
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• IT proficient - Excel and accountancy software

What you'll get in return
You will work for a well established accountancy practice who have an excellent reputation. You will work Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and the salary on offer will be negotiable depending on experience and will be very competitive.
