MCS Group are currently recruiting an experienced and proven Sales Manager to help the lead both the internal ad external team of a world leading business.
Working closely with Territory Managers both domestically and internationally, the Sales Manager will drive KPI's and help maintain existing relationships as well as developing new business opportunities. You will identify objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short and long-term sales and earnings, with your focus being business to business growth.
- Manage the training and on-going performance of the sales team
- Set, manage, and deliver sales revenue targets
- Review and monitor the activity and performance of Territory Managers
- Assist in stock purchasing and sales promotions
- Create, develop, and implement new account acquisition and customer retention plans
- Provision of sales reports and analysis of performance
- Contribute to marketing plans and promotional campaigns
- Minimum of 3 years' experience of managing a sales team
- Knowledge of sales within the commercial vehicle or construction equipment sector
- Strategic and results driven with a commercial business acumen
- Strong people management and development skills
- Ability to travel internationally
