Learning & Development Manager - Award Winning Manufacturer - Tyrone
MCS Group is thrilled to be partnering with a multinational, award winning food manufacturing organisation based in County Tyrone, who currently require a highly experienced Learning & Development Manager on a permanent basis. This is a newly created position, which is fantastic given the year it's been, an ideal opportunity for an experienced trainer to take ownership of the L&D function, with a strong focus on talent and the employee experience.

Reporting to the Head of HR, the Learning & Development Manager partner with key stakeholders across the organisation, focused on developing growth programmes for their employees to ensure top talent is identified and developed appropriately. The role will be heavily involved on the design and delivery of training for all staff, sourcing specialist external training when required.
On a day to day basis, the Learning & Development Manager will be responsible for a team of 3 L&D Specialists, responsible for all training matters from business wide training needs analysis, creating bespoke training for all staff. These training programmes will be creative, tailored in line with organisational values and commercial direction, providing innovative solutions to ensure all new employees receive the high-quality induction and onboarding process.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a skills matrix for each staff member, responsible for development of staff, ensuring they have tangible career goals to work towards, leading to a highly motivated and engaged workforce. This will include managing the companies Graduate Programme, working closely with each graduate to develop skills and reach their potential.
Employee engagement is high on the company agenda, with the Learning & Development Manager supporting on various initiatives to enhance employment engagement, acting as a true ambassador for the company values.

The successful candidate
To apply for this outstanding Learning & Development Manager opportunity, it is essential you possess the following:
- 3+ years' experience working at L&D Manager level
- Relevant 3rd Level Qualification
- A proven track record of delivering robust training systems
- Highly dynamic, enthusiastic individual, with the ability to engage an audience and inspire discussion
- Experience of developing bespoke training, with the ability to identify knowledge gaps and develop training to address them
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Ideally come from a manufacturing / food manufacturing environment, although this is not essential
- A CIPD qualification is also a desirable
