Salary £8-£10 an hour
Mon – Thurs 8.00am – 5.00pm and Fri 8.00am – 2.00pm
Our client designs, manufactures and exports an extensive range of equipment for use in the mining, quarrying and material recycling industries. Established in 2005 they have experienced rapid growth and success within the industry and are now in the position to add to their talented team. They currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fitter.
Duties & responsibilities
As a Fitter you will work as part of an effective team to build, test and run machines to a high-quality standard in order to meet ongoing customer demands.
- Previous experience fitting within a manufacturing/production environment
- A strong mechanical background with the ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- A good knowledge of power tools
- Excellent communication skills
- A willingness to work overtime as and when required
- Ability to meet targets whilst working on a production line
