MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Strategic Buyer for our very well-established engineering and manufacturing industry who provide technology solutions and materials processing applications across the world.

As the Strategic Buyer you will report to the Procurement Manager where you will work closely with multiple departments and suppliers with the view to improve quality, efficiency and reduce cost for production.

The successful candidate will have at least 4 years purchasing experience gained in an engineering or manufacturing environment, with excellent organisational, communication, interpersonal, team working and good judgement and decision-making skills. It would be desirable that you have experience with ERP/MRP systems, stock taking in a manufacturing environment and a CIPS qualification.
