Our client are specialists in the design and manufacturing of machinery supplied in to recycling and material handler sectors. They are a leading supplier in this sector and have being doing so for almost 20 years.
Your new role
As a welder you will be responsible for welding machine component parts to a high-quality standard in order to meet customer ongoing demands.Within your role you will be responsible for: - MIG welding materials together using various tools and equipment.- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.- Examining welds and ensuring that all welds meet quality standards.- Operating power tools.- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
What you'll need to succeed
Ability to work as part of a team and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.- Outstanding communication and time management skills.- Great attention to detail.- The ability to work independently and to work with limited supervision. This is not exhaustive, it is provided to give you an indication of the variety of projects you would be required to carry out.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive salary, in fact one of the highest rates in the area. Hours of work: Monday- Thursday 8am - 5pm & Friday 8am - 2pm.
