Your new role
? Reading & understanding engineering drawings & works orders, following production drawings ? Assemble parts to form finished products using hand & power tools in line with quality standards ? Perform in process quality checks & inspection of final assembled part against company quality standards prior to moving on to the next production process ? Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement ? Ensuring the safe & controlled movement of product ? Keep work area clean & organised ? Work in a careful & safe manner in line with company H & S policy ? Actively participate in orientation & training programs ? Use of company MRP system


What you'll need to succeed
? Previous assembly / fitting experience with the engineering industry (min. 1 year) ? Ability to read & understand engineering drawings and AutoCAD drawings ? Experience using various hand tools ? Mechanical aptitude with a meticulous eye for detail ? Problem solving nature ? Previous experience of undertaking manual labour ? Awareness of H & S relative to the workshop environment ? Good communication skills both verbal & written ? Strong numeracy & literacy skills ? Basic computer literacy
