Your new company
A medium sized civil engineering company based in County Tyrone currently require a Site Engineer with 2-3+ years' experience to work on a new Windfarm scheme they are starting.
This is a family run company who have an emphasis on delivering quality projects within heavy civils works. With a rich heritage spanning over 2 generations this company have now expanded to cover works in NI and ROI and so need to increase their headcount to accommodate for the increased workload.
Working on both long-term frameworks and ongoing civil schemes this will be a rewarding role that will offer progression in to management.
Your new role
This role will see you based on site as the lead Engineer reporting into a contracts manager who will oversee the overall responsibility of the project. You will be heavily involved in the ongoing site duties including; setting out, direct and indirect labour, scheduling works and health and safety on site. Due to the requirements of the role you will need to be a technically minded individual who is fully conversant with a total station.
Project locations can vary however you must be prepared for potential overnights with accommodation, vehicle and fuel all provided.
What you'll need to succeed
We are anticipating applications from degree qualified Civil Engineers or Construction Engineer Management, with a minimum of 2 years post graduate experience, however applicants with a different educational path should not be deterred from applying.
You will be an ambitious individual with a real interest in developing your career with an established medium sized Northern Irish contractor. Experience of being the lead Engineer on sites will be ideal specifically on roads, bridges, windfarms, or heavy civils being looked upon favourably.
