Currently seeking to hire a Construction Planner to join their team on a permanent basis, this contractor solely operates in Northern Ireland and will never require you to travel outside of the region.
With an annual turnover in excess of £20million, this is a stable and welcoming environment to join and one that can ensure you and N.I base and local projects.
Your new role
Based in Country Tyrone but with a satellite office in Belfast (can work from either) you will be using Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 Software.
Your role as Construction Planner will be to support the company by identifying, controlling and forecasting Timescales, Costings and Resourcing requirements whilst implementing best practice planning policies and procedures during the full life cycle of projects from tender through to completion.
You will be responsible for accurately identifying and resourcing requirements for projects including labour, plant and materials.
You will provide support for all construction planning functions ensuring that issues or irregularities within the programme are highlighted and understood by all and making amendments where necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
This is a permanent vacancy with a profitable and well-established Construction Contractor. Reporting into a Senior Contracts Manager, you will have previous Planning experience and ideally completed several projects from inception to handover.
You will also be confident using Microsoft Project or Primavera software, so it is essential you have a strong understanding of the software and are capable of resourcing and costing.
Previous on the ground experience as an Engineer or other any other operational construction role will be viewed favourably.
