You will work for a leading distributor based in the Strabane area who supply their products to large global companies throughout USA, Canada, Asia and Australia.
Your new role
As Bookkeeper you will have a pivotal role within the business and will report directly to the Managing Director whilst liaising with the external company accountants. Duties will include: responsibility for company purchase ledger; monthly bank reconciliations; liaison with bank, external accountants and third party funders including Invest NI; VAT returns; EC Sales; Intrastat; intercompany invoices; processing of wages and associated reports and returns and undertake day to day office duties including telephone duties, reception duties; sorting; manual and electronic filing; data entry; running reports; preparing reports; record keeping and hospitality for site visitors.
What you'll need to succeed
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role
- Experience using Sage Line 50 and Microsoft Office
- Organised and efficient, with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Strong bookkeeping skills

You will work for a well established company based in the Strabane area, this is a full-time permanent job although a 4 day week will also be considered. You will be offered a very competitive salary based on experience.
